All our jewellery is crafted using high quality, hypoallergenic metals and is listed in the product descriptions. The main metal we use is medical grade 316L Surgical Steel.

All the metals we use to make our jewellery are hypoallergenic, however 316L Surgical Steel still contains traces of nickel - internally. It is still considered to be a hypoallergenic metal, as the nickel is bound within the jewellery so no nickel ions are actually making contact with your skin, thus most people will not have reactions to Surgical Steel. At Adorneum we recognise that everyone's allergies and sensitivities are different, so our Titanium and Sterling Silver jewellery contain no nickel at all for our girlies with hyper-sensitive skin.

Our jewellery is meant for everyday wear, even on beach, pool, or gym days. However, plated styles may erode quicker in tough conditions. To keep your jewellery looking as amazing as the day you got it, please carefully wash and dry your jewellery after swimming.

Our jewellery is waterproof thanks to cutting-edge PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) plating technology. This advanced process binds our 18K Gold plating to the base metal at a molecular level. This creates a thick, durable, tarnish-proof layer that protects your pieces from water, sweat, and everyday wear - keeping them sparkling and beautiful; rain, swim, sweat or shine.

Our jewellery is real gold - it's just not solid gold. Our pieces use a base of medical grade surgical steel, and we then apply a thick layer of 18K gold over the top. As our mission is to craft and create affordable luxury for everyday, at a price point everyone can afford; we knew we had to find an alternative to solid gold as it is just too expensive for most of us and traditional electro-plated jewellery just doesn't last. That's why we use cutting edge PVD plating technology, a thick, real 18K gold layer, and an affordable base metal. All of this comes together to create the incredible affordable luxury waterproof collections you trust and love.

We sincerely hope you love every piece you purchase from us. For hygiene purposes, we are unable to accept change-of-mind returns on earrings and body jewellery. We prioritise your health and wellbeing, therefore we ensure all piercing jewellery you receive is brand-new, unworn and free from any potential contamination. 

For all other non-piercing jewellery, you can return your pieces to us within 7 days of delivery for a store credit to the value of the pieces, excluding shipping.

Items must be in their original condition to be eligible for return; unworn and in the original packaging.

YES! We are so confident in the quality of our waterproof jewellery, we provide a LIFETIME COLOUR WARRANTY. That means we guarantee your pieces won't tarnish or fade - or we'll replace it at no cost to you.

We offer a 12 month warranty against defects or faults.

These warranties cover defects only, and excludes general wear and tear, tarnishing or damage from misuse or not following care guidelines.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery for items received with defects.
